Strategies on Addressing Poverty Issues Though Infill Developments in San Juan 

San Juan, Puerto Rico is a dense urban area that is known for its culture and tourist attractions, but looking closer into the neighborhoods, the residents experience many issues of poverty. With development on the rise on this island, there are many pieces of land that are vacant and can be utilized for something more. This project reviews the existing conditions of San Juan and provide some solutions of which areas would be ideal for infill development that can potentially address these issues in hopes of improving quality of life. This project will not provide an exact location but will provide some areas that will be ideal for converting vacant lots into infrastructure that provide amenities to the community.
