A critique of gated development in San Juan, Puerto Rico

In this project, I seek to document the extent of recent residential gating in the San Juan metro area, as well as the destruction of the street grid, the amenitization of gated communities, and the problematization of security measures that reinforce social stratification. I will also propose specific actions to improve this dynamic.
