In light of the growing crisis on climate change, distribution and access to healthcare is becoming one of the biggest global concerns, especially for rural communities that face additional barriers. Improving accessibility and decreasing the presence of 'Healthcare Deserts' is critical for establishing true Climate Havens that are resilient in the face of the changing environment. By redesigning the approach and delivery of healthcare, we can conquer rural barriers of long travel times, lack of transportation and social vulnerability.
