Creating a Tree Megalopolis

This project establishes how critical air quality is in relation to how people interact with the world around them. Within any urban environment, the air quality is comparatively poor when observing a region that is predominantly nature. This negative impact is able to be counteracted with enhancing the region’s tree canopy, through filtering out particulate matter and other pollutants. One tree has the capacity of improving the air quality for four people. If an urban environment heavily invested in enhancing the region’s tree canopy, the air quality of the region will substantially improve and increase the resident’s quality of living.
