Building Community Resilience: Asset-Based Strategies to Increase the Adaptive Capacities of Vulnerable Communities through Implementation of Resilience Hubs

Marginalized communities, especially those with low-income and minority populations, are especially vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change due to traditional disinvestment. In order for the Cincinnati region to succeed as a future climate haven, Resilience Hubs need to be implemented in vulnerable communities. The strategies outlined in this playbook are asset-based and community-driven to empower residents throughout the process of implementing a Resilience Hub.
