Cincinnati Cancer Prevention and Control
Today in the US, cancer is the second leading cause of death. In Cincinnati, there were approximately 466 cancer cases per 100,000 citizens, and the mortality was 204.1 per 100,000. In this Hub, there are three main tabs: Data, Education, and Get Involved. The Data tab displays maps, figures, and charts of cancer data in Cincinnati. The Education tab has two sub-sections: cancer prevention and cancer survival. And the Get Involved tab provides a cancer risk calculator for people to do self-assessment and get improvement for their health and supports map editor function for people and health department to update real-time carcinogenic risk factors.
